Nutrition

Our kitchen staff prepares breakfast, lunch and dinner for our campers and staff every day.  Each meal is balanced with the proper nutrients needed to get through the daily activities.


Meals are served in our Dining Hall and campers are offered multiple food choices at each meal.  For example, a typical breakfast includes pancakes and sausage as the hot option, served family style at each table, with cereal, oatmeal and fruit offered on a cereal bar.


Here is a sample from last year’s menu:

Breakfast – pancakes, sausage, cold cereal, fresh fruit, oatmeal, water and orange juice.

Lunch – cheese lasagna, green salad, garlic bread, Congo Chewies (cookie), punch and water.

Dinner – roast beef, potatoes, dinner rolls, roasted vegetables, yellow cake with frosting, water.


Vegetarian options are provided at all meals where a meat product is served as the main dish.  Please let us know at least two weeks in advance if your child is a vegetarian or has other specific dietary needs so our kitchen staff has time to prepare.
